We are pleased to announce that Decker Middle School has officially committed to come on board with the RISING UP: Coaching Program!
This fall DMS will be bringing our founder, JC Pohl, out to train student coaches as well as present his award winning TEEN TRUTH film series to the student body. In conjunction with Manor Middle School this will bring the RISING UP and TEEN TRUTH initiatives to all of the middle schools in the district. Headed by MISD Director of Counseling, Tabita Gutierrez, these efforts will leave no doubt that students across the city will not only understand the importance of telling their truth, but also be given the skill set to start rising up through any type of adversity. We are confident that our ASCA inspired peer-to-peer curriculum will serve as the perfect complement to already existing anti-bully and suicide prevention programs on campus.
