We have signed on with yet another Communities in Schools affiliate! CIS – North Texas will be hosting a “Train the Trainer” event and bringing our RISING UP: Coaching Program training to their middle school students. This valuable opportunity will pair our peer-to-peer curriculum with another 21 Century ACE Center allowing our message to reach students both during and after-school hours!
CIS – North Texas Program Director, Ashley King, had this to say:
“A few years ago I heard JC speak at a conference and was very inspired by his passion to mold and shape today’s youth. I thought it would be a really great opportunity if someday I could get him to come up to North Texas and work with our ACE students. We have been talking now for over a year to make this happen and my staff and I couldn’t be more excited to bring the RISING UP: Coaching Program to our community!”
