Extend Guidance Efforts

Most student to counselor ratios are about 500 to 1. This challenge, coupled with administrative duties, has created an obstacle in the guidance efforts of professional school counselors. RISING UP was designed to help create a peer-to-peer curriculum that will build resiliency and extend guidance efforts across campus. It is ideal for advisory periods, after-school sessions, and elective classes. It has been utilized by schools across the country.

Save on Costs

Our “Trainer Certification” option exists for schools, districts, or organizations that want to implement RISING UP on a wider level. This full day workshop will teach the importance of peer-to-peer programming and the philosophy behind our social-emotional curriculum. Additionally, it allows each school in attendance to save on costs associated with implementation and certifies each attendee to train student coaches on their campus.

Focused on a message of strength and resiliency, RISING UP was designed to provide social-emotional programming for middle school and high school aged students. During his career, JC has created award-winning products that have reached over 10 million people in 7,000+ schools. He currently serves as CEO for TEEN TRUTH and has consulted for companies such as Disney, Warner Brothers, ESPN, Lifetouch, Six Flags and Special Olympics. Pohl is a licensed marriage and family therapist, holds a Masters in Professional Counseling from Texas State University, San Marcos and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing from Santa Clara University.
